| The war memorial hall, which
was built in the former headquarters of the Army,
consists of 2 floors below ground and 4 floors above
ground with an exhibition hall of around 60 million
Pyong(area). In detail, it is comprised of a memorial
room for defense of the fatherland, a war history
room, a Korean War room, an overseas dispatch of
the troops room, armed forces development room,
a large scale equipment room, a defense industry
room, etc. The statue of brothers located at the
center of plaza was erected in memory of an elder
brother of the South Korean Army and a younger brother
of the North Korean Army, which reminds us of the
agony of the divided North and South. |

| Exhibition hall of the royal
court relics displays materials used by persons,
from the king to a maid of honor, in the royal court
of the Chosun dynasty. It is divided into a standing
exhibition hall and a planned exhibition hall. Among
the 10 exhibition halls, relics relating to musical
instruments, politics, economy, scientific material,
five proprieties, court architecture, and court
ceremonies are displayed on the 2nd floor. On the
3rd floor, the royal seal, the royal belt, the craftwork,
the royal court attire, accessories, drawings, and
the model of the royal court map are displayed. |

| The National Museum of Korea
displays some 5000 items of relics among the relics
in possession in the18 exhibition halls and has
a variety of information facilities such as visual

This is the museum that displays
a collection of folk materials by which we can see
the life and wisdom of our ancestors. It restores
and displays materials used as various living tools
in the prehistoric age, the Bronze Age, and the
Age of 3 Nations as well as materials on printing
during the Koryo dynasty and the invention of the
Korean alphabet during the Chosun dynasty. You can
find materials on food, clothing and shelter, ceremonial
occasions, and manners and customs of the new year.
In addition, models of Anapji of Shilla, 9 story
pagoda at Hwangryong temple, and Geunjeongjeon at
the Kyungbok Palace, etc. are displayed. The outside
of the museum displays Chunhadaejanggun, Jihayeojanggun,
Dolharubang, and Yeonjabanga, etc. |

| The national theater was
established as the first national theater in Asia
